Esports News UK’s 24-hour GameBlast charity gaming marathon has concluded – and you helped us raise £650 for SpecialEffect!
The money will go to people with disabilities to help them play the games we love.
More than 80 of you from the UK esports scene took part over the weekend as we got stuck in with some great League of Legends matches, 1v1s and other fun games including Hearthstone and Overwatch.
We hit two forfeit milestones, so caster Sandstorm will be dyeing his beard, and Team ENUK and CSGO player Chris Bell will be sharing some embarrassing young photos of ourselves over the next week.
You can check out the VoDs from the stream on the ENUK YouTube channel – we’ll be uploading videos throughout the week so do check back then.
We’d like to do some more streams in the future, maybe live interviews and chat shows, so do follow ENUK on Twitch and join our Discord.

Many of you also followed ENUK on Twitter and got involved using the hashtag #UKEsportsGameBlast, so thanks for being a part of it.
Apologies for the CSGO problems, we will do our best to get that properly sorted for the next stream.
Thank you all so much for donating, and a special shout out to Simon Best and Team EndPoint for some real whopping amounts donated, and of course to the production team, casters and all of you who took part and watched.
If you still want to donate something, you can donate here.

Finally, ENUK editor Dom Sacco said a few words in the video above to thank you all again and make some shoutouts. Thanks again!
