Barney “Alphari” Morris, the British League of Legends pro and top-laner for Misfits, has spoken about his team’s chances in the LCS next split.
Misfits qualified for the 2017 Spring EU LCS back in August after beating Schalke 3-1, and will play in the LCS early next year.
In the meantime, they have flown to Korea to practice and prepare.
Speaking in a Road to Korea video on the Misfits YouTube channel, Alphari said: “After we made LCS, I went home and played solo queue, which was okay. EU solo queue has kind of decreased in quality a lot, so I’m looking forward to travelling to Korea and spamming Korean solo queue.
“But when I finally got to Korea, solo queue got taken down for five days, which kind of sucked, but it was still nice to play the better quality solo queue.
“I expect we’ll do good [in the LCS], probably… hopefully top five – anything less will be a disappointment.”

Misfits were formerly known as the Renegades Banditos, and won the ESL UK League of Legends Premiership earlier this year, progressing them to the EU Challenger Series qualifiers. From there, they made it to the top level of European League of Legends – the LCS.
