eSports and gaming event host Multiplay has opened a brand new UK eSports studio in Basingstoke.
The company – which is responsible for the UK Masters league and Insomnia gaming festivals – showed off the studio in a live broadcast for the League of Legends UK Masters this evening.

The UK Masters Twitter account teased the following earlier today:

It then announced the studio, along with what’s possibly the most boyband-esque picture of UK caster duo Sona (left) and Excoundrel (right) we’ve ever seen.

We’ve reached out to Multiplay for specific details of the studio, but from the stream and images posted it’s a small, well-lit studio complete with a desk, cast, cameras and of course plenty of Insomnia and GAME branding.
Earlier this year, rival events company ESL opened its own UK studio in Leicester.
