CoinPoker Sets $30M Battle of Malta Online Series for July

CoinPoker will run the Battle of Malta Online Series from July 12 to August 3, with $30 million in guaranteed prize pools across the three-week festival.

The online series will include multiple Main Events, trophy events, different poker formats, and qualification routes for players across different bankroll levels. Several seven-figure prize pools will be included, although the full schedule has not yet been released.

The announcement follows CoinPoker’s World Poker Masters series. According to the operator, that series was initially set with $25 million in guarantees and finished with more than $48 million awarded across almost 430,000 tournament registrations.

CoinPoker has since increased its weekly tournament guarantees by $2 million. The Battle of Malta Online Series will now add another large-field festival to its 2026 tournament calendar.

The festival is expected to cover a mix of buy-in levels and tournament formats, with satellites and qualification routes likely to be a key part of the schedule. That structure gives CoinPoker a way to link lower-stakes qualifiers with the larger Main Events and live-package prizes, while keeping the series open to players outside the highest buy-in tiers.

Live Battle of Malta Packages

The series will include opportunities to win packages for the 2026 Battle of Malta Autumn Series in Malta.

CoinPoker said those packages will include flights, hotel accommodation and Main Event entry. The live Battle of Malta festival has been running since 2012 and remains one of the better-known live poker tournament stops in Europe.

The prize gives online poker players the chance to turn a pipe-dream and office chair into a real-life high-roller experience in Malta.

Trophy Events

Selected events during the online series will award exclusive Battle of Malta digital trophies.

CoinPoker said more information on the schedule, featured events and qualification routes will be released in due course.
