It looks like Pokémon Pocket could finally be getting a Kalos-themed expansion, judging by upcoming Mega Evolutions.
All week, the Japanese Twitter account for the game has been teasing upcoming cards for Pokémon Pocket with cryptic puzzles.
And the community has come together to figure out that Mega Gardevoir and Mega Mawile are seemingly coming to the game.
That could suggest a Hoenn-themed update, but other puzzles suggest the two-pack expansion will be based on Pokémon X and Y.
👀Are you ready for Mega Gardevoir ex?

Pokémon Pocket players thought they had sussed out the teased card as Mega Malamar ex.
But further clues from Morse code and cryptograms have specifically spelt out Gardevoir and Mawile, with their Mega forms expected to come to the game.
Now that Mega Evolutions are in the digital TCG, going to Kalos where the original Megas debuted makes a lot of sense.
Especially as the physical Pokémon TCG hasn’t even released cards for the new Pokémon Legends Z-A Megas yet.
Other possible cards or references that the community think they have found through the cryptic clues are:
- Mimikyu,
- Team Yell
- Diantha
Mimikyu was enough Generation 6 mon that debuted in Pokémon X and Y.
And Diantha is the champion of Kalos in those games, with Mega Gardevoir her signature Pokémon, so expect synergy between those two cards.
So, what we know so far are;

Mega Garde, mega mawile, mimikyu, team yell, diantha, "parade"
Some that im unsure of;
Ogrepon? And maybe stadiums? 🤔
Whatever this set is, IM HYPED 🔥#PokemonTCGPocket https://t.co/EXUQV30lVX
Meanwhile, the Team Yell from Pokémon Sword and Shield reference seems like a strange curveball.
As is another clue which many believe points to the inclusion of Ogrepon, a legendary Pokémon from the DLC of Scarlet and Violet.
Some also believe they have seen a hint towards Stadium cards.
These are a unique type of trainer card from the physical TCG, of which there can only be one on the field at a time.
Its effect then applies to both players’ boards.
When is the next expansion for Pokémon Pocket?
Serebii Update: The Pokémon TCG Pocket Deluxe Pack ex set has returned. Available until January 29th 2026https://t.co/m63FKeuNyp pic.twitter.com/BH1Ww1RsF1

Currently, the limited-time Deluxe Pack ex packs are back in Pokémon Pocket until January 29th.
Though that, it is believed that the B2 expansion will be released on the 29th.
As a main set, it is expected to feature two separate packs and around 155-160 cards in total.
In addition to the rumoured cards above, Pokémon Pocket players are hoping for a Crown Rare item that helps water types.
This would follow up from Flame Patch and Quick-Grow extract from the last two sets, which both helped with energy.
And water types tend to be the most energy-hungry cards, essentially balanced because of the potential high-rolls from the Misty supporter.
