The players will compete on the Lore & Legends set from TFT Patch 16.1, which only launched earlier this week.
We’re going bigger than ever at the TFT Paris Open, with 768 spots in the Main Event open to competitors. Players will compete on Lore & Legends, which will launch shortly before the event kicks off. The seeding, point system, and format can be found below.
Seeding will be initially decided by players’ ranking in the previous set, K.O. Coliseum.
After Round 1, players will then be seeded via a snake draft based on the points players earn throughout the tournament.
Players will earn points based on the results of each game at the following distributions (starting with first place): 8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1.

The Main Event will feature five rounds in total, played across three days of games.
Players will be split into pools of eight before each round, with players advancing based on the number of points they rack up in total.
Day 1 Format
- 768 players are divided into three groups of 256 (32 lobbies each).
- Each group plays four games, with initial lobby seeding based on their K.O. Coliseum ranking.
- After four games:
- Top two players per lobby (192 total) advance to Round 2.
- Next 64 highest scorers across all lobbies also advance (total 256).
- Bottom 512 are eliminated.
- After four games:
- Points reset after each round and are only used for tie-breaking.
Day 2 Format
- Round 2 (256 players) → three games → Top four per lobby advance (128 total).
- Round 3 (128 players) → three games → Top four per lobby advance (64 total).
- Round 4 (64 players) → eight lobbies, checkmate format:
- A player reaching 20 points puts the lobby in check.
- To win, that player must win a game while in check.
- Multiple players can be in check simultaneously.
- If no one wins after six games, the highest total points wins.
- Eight checkmate winners advance to Day 3 (Final Lobby).
- Remaining players are ranked by Day 2 checkmate points.
Day 3 Format
- Eight finalists compete in a checkmate format:
- Reaching 20 points puts others in check.
- Players with 20+ points must then win a game to secure the championship.
- If no player wins after eight games, the player with the highest total points wins.
- Final standings are based on Day 3 points.
