Chen ‘Bin’ Ze-Bin returned to action with Bilibili Gaming (BLG) after the intense drama, which saw the Top Laner allegedly storm out of BLG’s scrim practice.
The 24-hour spectacle was seemingly resolved, as the Top Laner started for BLG against Top Esports in the LPL.
Bin drama recap
The Top Laner allegedly got into a heated argument with the organisation’s team manager, resulting in the LPL Grand Finals 2025 winner leaving BLG’s practice.
Weibo user 召唤师Park stated on the Chinese social media that “Bin left. While arguing with the team leader, he carried his bag and just left he is not kicked.”
The organisation reacted by promoting Yang ‘Wenbo’ Wen-Bo, their academy team Top Laner, to the main roster.
The promotion was confirmed by both BLG and the LPL, who listed both Bin and Wenbo in the lineup for their LPL Split 1 clash with Top Esports.
Bin returns for BLG
All signs pointed to Wenbo starting for BLG against Top Esports on Thursday afternoon, but the tides soon shifted.
Rumours coming from Weibo pointed to a reconciliation within the roster. Specifically stating that Bin had returned and apologised to his teammates.
Bin allegedly admitted his mistake, apologising to the BLG director and the front desk of BLG’s facility for his actions.
The player allegedly stated that he would take scrimmage more seriously, and would be less emotional regarding feedback.
The BLG 2026 superteam, only one month into its action, seemingly almost imploded in the least important split of the year.
Whether the roster can be stable under the pressure of Split 3, MSI, and Worlds seems doubtful after this incident.
However, we can always hope that players go through personal growth, especially in an LPL which has been inundated with scandal in 2025.
