PGL has announced its invited team for PGL Wallachia Season VII. The $1,000,000 event will occur from March 7 to 15.
The event is the second Wallachia since The International 2026, following Mouz’s victory in PGL Wallachia Season 6.
The PGL Wallachia Season VII invited teams are:
- BetBoom
- Aurora
- Team Falcons
- Team Liquid
- Natus Vincere
- OG Esports
- Parivision
- Team Spirit
- Tundra Esports
- Mouz
- Team Yandex
- Xtreme Gaming
The four remaining spots will be filled by the winners of four regional Closed Qualifiers in the Americas, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia.
Notable teams include GamerLegion and Heroic in the Americas, Virtus.pro and Nigma Galaxy in Western Europe, 1Win and Avulus in Eastern Europe, and Rekonix, Vici Gaming, and Team Nemesis in Asia.
Mouz come into the event as the defending Wallachia champions, after defeating Spirit 3-2 in a hugely exciting Grand Final.
However, they could only secure 3rd-4th in the BLAST Slam V that followed shortly after, falling to eventual champions, Tundra Esports in the semi-finals.
BetBoom sees the return of their coach, Anatoly ‘boolk’ Ivanov, to the active roster following his benching in September.
Spirit are still without a coach after the benching of Airat ‘Silent’ Gaziev. While rumours surrounding Filipe ‘Astini’ Ribeiro joining the roster are rife, there is still no formal confirmation of the move.
The event will be the first Wallachia featuring OG’s return to green jerseys, after dropping their almost decade-long association with Red Bull.
