T1 defeated KT Rolster 2-0 to go 3-0 in the Group Stage of the LCK Cup, qualifying the team for the playoffs in a repeat of the Worlds 2025 Grand Final.
However, the game will not be remembered for its effect on the LCK Cup, but for its ridiculous Game 2 comeback, which saw T1 recover from a 1-15 kills deficit to close out the series.

Faker outclasses KT Rolster in Game 1
Game 1 saw similar dynamics to T1’s previous matches in the LCK Cup 2026. T1 has looked dominant in the LCK Cup so far, looking in form after their KeSPA Cup victory.
Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok continued his strong laning form, solo killing Gwak ‘Bdd’ Bo-sung in mid.
KT Rolster’s gameplan revolved around a winning Bot Lane, with Varus and Rakan facing Ezrael and Lissandra – Keria’s first competitive showing of the champion.
The opposite pattern emerged, with Kim ‘Peyz’ Su-hwan and Ryu ‘Keria’ Min-seok pushing Kim ‘Aiming’ Ha-ram and Oh ‘Pollu’ Dong-gyu back.
For T1, the game became simple as they pushed back KT in the lanes, dominating the objectives.
T1 took some time to close out the game, but they were fully in control, with Peyz’s Ezrael spiking about KT Rolster’s comp potential.

T1 turn around 14k gold deficit in Game 2
Game 1 was controlled, composed, and most-importantly, made sense.
Game 2 was none of those things. KT Rolster were the ones to get the picks against T1 early, and it seemed they were set up for success.
Moon ‘Cuzz’ Woo-chan strongly contributed to that early success on Sejuani, with two early picks and assists.
KT went on to dominate the teamfights in the mid game, with bdd, Cuzz, and Aiming all having strong impact.
T1 desperately tried to sneak the Baron, but were team aced in the attempt, meaning the game should have been an easy win for KT who raced to a 14k gold lead.
Bizarrely, however, they simply could not end. A 20 minute period of almost total inaction emerged.
KT amassed gold, three Barons, and an Elder Dragon, but never looked close to a finish.
They were extremely passive in their attempts to conclude the game, tentative, and giving T1’s champions the time to scale beyond KT’s burst.
T1 beat KT back from their base repeatedly, in unbelievable fashion, still wildly behind but far more coordinated and clinical than their KT counter-parts.
KT’s last attempt was again a botched effort, with Cuzz mistiming the engagement, which was intended to make use of Super Minions.
T1 aced the disconnected KT Rolster, with Mun ‘Oner’ Hyeon-jun and co Mundo walking to their base to secure the 2-0 victory.
