ALGS Championship Bracket Stage: The Winners and Losers post-Groups

Following the conclusion of the Group Stage, all ALGS Championship Bracket Stage teams have been categorised into their Winners or Losers Bracket groups. 

Which teams have the best opportunities to breeze through Match Point Final Qualification, and which have a long Losers Bracket road ahead? 

Winners and Losers ALGS Championship Brackets confirmed

After the ALGS Championship Group Stage, the following teams have qualified for the Winners Bracket (with each team’s points total and their seeding from the Group Stage Noted):

Winners Bracket Teams:

Notably, Team Falcons, UNLIMIT, Citadel Gaming, ENTER FORCE.36, GROW Gaming, Legacy, Alliance, Hotdog Mafia, Oblivion, and TSM are all teams highlighted in ENUK’s ALGS Year 5 Championship Day 1 analysis. 

They were all able to continue in a strong enough position on Day 2 to qualify for the Winners Bracket. 

Following the conclusion of Day 2, it is also worth noting the performance of SUPERNOVA. The EMEA team gained their invite through the highly competitive Last Chance Qualifiers, and the roster features veteran Apex Legends professional Konstantin’ Hardecki’ Kozlov. 

Hardecki returned from retirement in the latter part of the 2025 competitive season. As a hyper-aggressive player, he earned the nickname “the Grim Reaper” at the height of his career. 

Clearly, his return to Apex Legends is making an impact, with SUPERNOVA seeding in an impressive 5th place out of 40 competing teams.

Losers Bracket Teams

Meanwhile, the following teams will be competing in Losers Bracket Round 1:

While Crazy Thieves were one of the most disappointing teams on Day 1 of the ALGS Championship, they miraculously revived their former competitive glory in the latter half of their final Group Stage set. 

Their back-to-back wins for the final two games earned them a significant number of last-minute points. However, they were not enough to push them into the Winners Bracket. 

On the other hand, Team Liquid Alienware did not see much improvement from Day 1 to Day 2. They will need a radical change to push them through the two Losers Brackets successfully. 

How do the Winners and Losers Brackets work in the ALGS Championship?

The top 20 teams from the ALGS Championship Group Stage, ranked by total points (placement and kill points), proceed to the Winners Bracket. If they are able to place in the top 10 for this set of games, they automatically qualify for the Match Point Final. 

Teams falling into the bottom 10 of the Winners Bracket lobby must compete in Losers Bracket Round 2. 

Before they can compete, Losers Bracket Round 1 must also take place. This Bracket features the bottom 20 teams ranked by points after the Group Stage. 

On the conclusion of Losers Bracket Round 1, the bottom 10 teams are eliminated from the competition. The top 10 from the lobby must join the bottom 10 from the Winners Bracket in Losers Bracket Round 2. 

Losers Bracket Round 2 is a team’s last chance to qualify for the Match Point Finals. 

The bottom 10 teams on the conclusion of Losers Bracket Round 2 join the bottom 10 of Losers Round 1 in being eliminated. The top 10 join the top 10 from Winners Bracket in the Match Point Final.
