paiN Gaming suspend TitaN following multiple accusations of sexual harassment

pain Gaming Bot Laner, Alexandre ‘TitaN’ Lima, has been suspended by the organisation following accusations of sexual harassment and sharing intimate content.

The player has been accused of wrongdoing against multiple alleged victims, the youngest of whom is reportedly 16 years of age.

Vinicius ‘Marvin’ Marvin replaces TitaN in the lineup. The Brazilian ADC had been loaned out to Fluxo W7M for the season, but has been recalled to take his place in the roster.

How TitaN sexual harassment accusations emerged

The situation dramatically spiralled from last Friday, when an ex-girlfriend of TitaN, Gabriela ‘Gabzuski’ Zambrozuski shared posts on social media claiming that TitaN had cheated on her.

TitaN replied to the accusations by discouraging fans from harassing the streamer, seemingly taking responsibility for “mistakes.”

However, on January 12, new accusations against the player emerged, including the sharing of intimate content and sexual harassment.

As a result, Zambrozuski shared that she and four other women intend to take legal action against the CBLOL player.

The streamer posted the following:

“After I exposed my situation…other girls sent me very sad reports involving this person, as I understand that more serious things must be handled seriously, we will be taking everything to the justice system. Any woman who has been harmed and needs support, I’m here to help.” (translated)

According to Sheep Esports, TitaN’s conduct included the sending of a “semi-nude photo” to a 16-year-old girl without her consent.

As such, Sheep Esports states that the girl’s mother intends to join the lawsuit against Lima.

paiN Gaming initially responded to the accusations by stating that they were “carefully evaluating the available information with the diligence that the situation demands, in order to define the appropriate measures based on that assessment.”

That action came later on Monday as paiN Gaming posted the following statement regarding the suspension (translated):

“We base our decisions on our principles and the institutional responsibility we carry.

In light of the context involving the athlete TitaN, we have decided to suspend him indefinitely from competitive activities. We will continue to monitor the case responsibly and make further decisions as the situation progresses.

During this period, the athlete will be replaced by Marvin, an athlete with paiN Gaming since 2023, with a solid track record in the organization and titles from the 1st Split of the CBLOL Academy 2024 and the Americas Challengers 2024.”

The player has not posted a reply to the accusations, with his last post coming in reply to the original accusations of cheating on January 10.

The news is a major blow to paiN and CBLOL, which is returning to League of Legends following a one-year period in which the LTA superseded it.

The CBLOL Cup is due to begin on January 17, with the winner qualifying for First Stand in São Paulo, Brazil.
