Following the EVO Announcement show, all official title lineups for EVO Japan and EVO Las Vegas 2026 have been confirmed.
Japan will host the first 2026 EVO event, running from May 1st to 3rd, while EVO Las Vegas will run from June 26th to 28th.
EVO Japan 2026 tournament lineup
From May 1st to 3rd, EVO Japan 2026 will take place at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan. Notably, the event will feature the first appearance of Riot Games’ new fighting game, 2XKO, in the Japanese lineup.
Overall, EVO have added five new titles for 2026 that have not yet been competed at Japan’s EVO events.

The event will also mark the beginning of EVO’s first year under its new ownership.
EVO’s acquisition by Saudi Arabian company Qiddiya sparked fierce debate in the fighting games community back in September 2025. Quiddiya purchased the event’s operator, RTS, raising questions around the future of EVO’s incredibly diverse competitor and attendee demographic.
Many will look to EVO Japan for first indications as to whether the change in ownership will be felt by those attending on the ground.
The full title lineup for EVO Japan is as follows:
- 2XKO (first appearance at EVO Japan)
- Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves (first appearance at EVO Japan)
- Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising
- Guilty Gear: Strive
- Hokuto no Ken (first appearance at EVO Japan)

- Tekken 8
