Over 1,300 players have signed up for the Regional Qualifier event so far, and even more for the accompanying side events.
The Main Event will feature a $25k (£19k) prize pool with the winner taking home $6k (£4.5k) and monetary prizes for the top 32.
The winner will also receive an alternate art Miss Fortune, Buccaneer foil card and matching Miss Fortune playmat.
Additionally, Riot has introduced ‘Best-Of Prizing’ for the Houston event and following Riftbound events.
Essentially, each player who places highest while playing one of Riftbound’s 16 champions will receive a unique holographic metal version of their champion’s Legend card.
These unique cards will be legal for tournament use.
And in addition to the external rewards, the top players at the Regional Qualifier will advance to the Riftbound Regional Championship.
The best players at the Regional Championship will then qualify for the first-ever Rftbound World Championship.

As well as Riftbound, Riot has plenty of other competitive tournament plans for the upcoming year.
Most of the esports seasons for Riot Games’ titles have come to an end for 2025.
Except for Teamfight Tactics, with the TFT Paris Open dates and format now confirmed.
Otherwise, Riot Games has revealed a lot of details for its extensive esports plans in 2026.
Valorant is also thriving and is coming to the UK for the first time ever next year with the Valorant Masters London.
League of Legends will maintain the same format next year with three international events, including the new First Stand tournament.
Every professional tournament will feature the Fearless Draft ruleset, which has given LoL esports a much-needed refresh.
And Riot has also confirmed the 2026 esports plans for 2XKO in the fighting game’s first full competitive season.
