League of Legends World Champions T1 paid a visit to Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena football stadium in an unexpected crossover.
The team were already in Munich after attending the Red Bull League of its Own and the 2025 League Awards.
The only T1 player missing from the visit was the legendary Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok.
But Choi ‘Doran’ Hyeon-joon, Mun ‘Oner’ Hyeon-jun, Kim ‘Peyz’ Su-hwan, and Ryu ‘Keria’ Min-seok seemed to have a good time.
During the stadium tour, the German football club gave all of the T1 players custom Bayern Munich shirts with their names on the back.
Doran was given the number 7, likely for his excellent play on the wings (side lane).
And Keria was appropriately given the number 10 as the support is T1’s primary playmaker.
Keria also showed his ball knowledge, mentioning Franz Beckenbauer and in a pretend press conference, said Bayern’s strategy was to “Just pass the ball to [Jamal] Musiala.”

It seems there weren’t any hard feelings from the LCK’s T1 after Bayern Munich wished the LPL teams good luck at LoL Worlds 2025.
The message from Konrad Laimer and legendary goalkeeper Manuel Neuer wasn’t enough as T1 eliminated both Anyone’s Legend and Top Esports.
It seems Bayern Munich is looking to connect with esports fans more as a new strategy for the football club.
Other German football clubs have competed in LoL in the past, primarily Schalke, who spent years in the LEC.
Bayern has a very large following in Asia, hence why the club has offices in Thailand’s Bangkok, South Korea’s Seoul, and China’s Shanghai.
This could be why Bayern are interested; it’s why PSG have invested in esports for a number of years now.
T1 LoL Worlds 2025 League of Legends skins
After winning the LoL World Championship, all of T1’s players will get their very own in-game skins.
Having won six championships, Faker now has a lot of skins in the game, but that hasn’t dampened the excitement to discover what champion he’ll pick.
Having polled his fans, it seems that Faker will choose Mel or Galio for his next skin.
Meanwhile, Keria’s poll had one clear frontrunner in Neeko, having previously earned skins for Bard and Pyke.
This will be Oner’s third skin as well, with Xin Zhao his most likely choice.
And Doran has already revealed that he has chosen Ambessa for his very first skin.
As for former T1 member Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyeong will get two skins after being crowned Worlds MVP.
In a fan Q&A, Gumayusi revealed the champions for his two final T1 LoL Worlds skins.
