After a rapid rise through the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Valve Regional Standings, FURIA will conclude 2025 at the top of the VRS, after taking the top spot for December.
The Brazilian esports organisation finished ahead of the likes of Team Falcons and Team Vitality to finish 2025 on a high.
December’s VRS standings are especially important as they will determine 28 of the 32 teams competing in Blast Bounty Season 3. This is the first Tier 1 CS2 tournament that will take place in 2026.

Their success at IEM Chengdu was particularly impressive, as they became the first majority Brazilian team to win an IEM title in eight years.
Team Falcons moved ahead of Team Vitality to take the second spot, with Aurora Gaming and MOUZ rounding off the top five.
The MongolZ, who were knocked off the top spot in November, are now down in sixth after they were eliminated on day two of Blast Rivals.

The December update for Valve’s global standings will be used to determine 28 of the 32 invites for Blast Bounty Season 3, with four wildcard invites also to be dished out.
Early stages of the Bounty will be played online and once only eight teams remain, the rest of the tournament will be held at Blast’s studio in Malta.
The event will offer $500,000 (£378,000) in prize money and $650,000 (£492,000) in club share.
Blast Bounty Season 3 will get underway in January. However, the Starladder Budapest Major tournament is still ongoing, with the grand final on December 14th.
