Caedrel shaved bald at League Awards 2025 after T1 Doran bet

British Twitch superstar and Los Ratones creator Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont was finally shaved bald after losing his T1 wager.

Caedrel became Baldrel as he was shaved live on stage and on stream while presenting the League Awards 2025 winners.

The League of Legends streamer Caedrel promised to go bald if T1 won LoL Worlds with Choi ‘Doran’ Hyeon-joon.

Despite the fact that T1 had won the previous two LoL World Championships, many expected the loss of Choi ‘Zeus’ Woo-je to hurt the team.

Especially, as Doran had previously struggled throughout his career and was not known for making game-changing plays like Zeus.

Yet, T1 and Lee ‘Faker Sang-hyeok completed a historic three-peat and won Worlds 2025 with their new toplaner.

So after he presented all of the awards, Caedrel had his head shaved live on stream.

Caedrel told the crowd at the awards show that anyone who had issues with him had a great opportunity.

T1 were in the building as they are scheduled for multiple games at Red Bull League of Its Own 2025.

However, T1 and Doran surprisingly did not participate in Caedrel’s head shaving.

Though Faker did wish Caedrel well, saying:

“Congratulations on going bald, I think it’s going to look great going into the new year.”

But, there was a long line of those who did want to participate, including YouTubers Dumbs and Necrit.

LoL lore YouTuber Necrit even kept some of Caedrel’s hair to add to his League of Legends collection.

Though most of the work was done by Los Ratones’ new head coach Jakob ‘YamatoCannon’ Mebdi.

Yamatocannon will be taking over Caedrel’s coaching role for the 2026 season.

What’s next for Caedrel and Los Ratones?

Los Ratones had a spectacular year, winning all three NLC seasons and two of three EMEA Masters titles available in 2025.

Their consistent performances mean Riot Games has invited Los Ratones to compete in LEC Versus next year.

The new tournament will replace the winter split, featuring Los Ratones, the LEC’s 10 teams, and EMEA Masters Summer champions Karmine Corp Blue.

Los Ratone’s full roster is returning for the Tier 1 event, including Community Content Creator of the Year, Simon ‘Baus’ Hofverberg.

After the 12-team tournament, the future of Los Ratones is unknown.

While the ERL teams in LEC Versus can jump straight into their region’s playoffs, Caedrel has stated Los Ratones won’t compete in Tier 2 next year.

Whether Los Ratones will be able to partner with a Tier 1 team or quit competing to focus solely on content remains to be seen.
