T1 have confirmed the signing of Kim ‘Peyz’ Su-hwan for the 2026 season, returning the player to the LCK after a year in the LPL.
The 19-year-old former MSI and LCK Champion has been awarded a long-term contract, signing with T1 until 2028.
Peyz will attempt to fill the shoes of the departing legendary ADC Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyeong, as T1 aims for their fourth Worlds title in a row.

T1 complete roster with Peyz signing
DOFPK will be the new initialism for T1 fans to memorise, as the roster moves another step away from the famous ZOFGK five.
Peyz joins the roster following the confirmation of Doran re-signing with the roster, meaning there will be no more changes for the Worlds champions.
Despite a historic threepeat, Worlds was the only trophy T1 lifted last year, with HLE and Gen.G taking the domestic LCK titles, so they will be looking to make a fast start as the LCK resumes in 2026.
In Peyz, the Worlds champions have signed the youngest botlaner to claim an LCK title, winning the LCK 2023 Spring playoffs at just 17 years of age.
Peyz won several pieces of silverware in 2023 and 2025 with Gen.G, winning all LCK splits in 2023 and MSI in 2024.
Yet, he could not help Gen.G overcome their Worlds woes, something which remains to this day.
For his new organisation, he will be hoping to compound Gen.G’s suffering in that sense.
Peyz left Gen.G following their Worlds 2024 disappointment, which saw them eliminated in the semi-finals by T1.
His sudden departure left him without an organisation in the LCK for 2025, playing for JD Gaming who had several organisation struggles in 2025.
Resultantly, Peyz and JDG missed Worlds 2025 and lacked domestic success in the LPL.
Now back in the LCK after a brief diversion, Peyz can look forward to playing wth Ryu ‘Keria’ Min-seok.
Keria is often cited as the most mechanically gifted Support of all time.
Peyz himself was widely regarded as a prodigy in his own ascendancy.
T1 clearly believe that the pairing will be a successful one, with a long life considering the long-term contract the bot laner has been granted.
The longevity of the contract almost rivals Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok’s deal with T1, which sees him stay with T1 until at least 2029.
Peyz’s message upon joining T1
“Hello. I’m Peyz, and I’ve just joined T1 as the new bot laner.
I’m really excited to begin this new chapter with new teammates at T1.
I’ll do my best to show great performances in this upcoming season.
Thank you.” (Translated)
