Riot Games has announced a tournament for UK players in Valorant’s new 2v2 mode, Skirmish.
Skirmish mode will put the teams of two onto a small map and have them play a best-of-19 (first to 10).
The event will begin online before the tournament concludes in-person at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in London on November 30th.
Participants must be able to attend the Live Finals at the venue from 12:00 pm until 6:30 pm.
Meanwhile, G2 Esports just won the Red Bull Homeground Valorant tournament in New York.
The event will feature a prize pool of £1500 with the following distributions going to the top four duos:
- 1st – £800
- 2nd – £400
- 3rd – £200
- 4th – £100
To compete, players can sign up on the Challengermode website for VUKC Online Qualifier 1, which will take place on November 22nd.
Qualifier 2 is then due to take place the next day on November 23rd.
The online qualifiers will be played across a double-elimination format, with the top eight from each qualifier progressing to the live finals.
However, more players will still be able to qualify via an offline Last Chance Play-In on November 30th at 11 am before the main event starts.
Players can apply to compete in the Last Chance Qualifier during the week of the finals.
Additionally, some select slots in the tournament will be given to university students.
The Grand Finals will see 32 duos battle in the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in front of a live audience.
Fans wishing to attend the Valorant UK Circuit 2v2 Skirmish Live Finals and watch the games can purchase tickets on Eventbrite.
Speaking ahead of the event, Organised Play Manager Will Attwood said:
“The Valorant 2v2 Skirmish coming to the UK is an awesome opportunity for players to show off their skills and teamwork in a new way within Valorant.
” I can’t wait to see all the crazy plays people will come up with in this new, intense format.”
VCT heads to the UK for the first time for Valorant Masters London
This isn’t the only Valorant event taking place in the UK either, as the country will host its first VCT event next year.
Riot Games announced the Valorant Masters London 2026 for the best VCT Stage 1 teams.
The second international event of the 2026 season will come to the English capital next June.
Meanwhile, the first Masters event of the year will take place in Santiago, Chile, and the 2026 Champions event will take place in Shanghai.
