World Series of Warzone 2025 champion and British pro ‘Lenun‘ has signed with Gen.G for the 2026 Warzone season.
Back in October, Lenun shockingly announced he was a free agent despite winning the year’s biggest Call of Duty: Warzone esports event.
With fellow Brits Ethan ‘Fifakill’ Pink and Echo1867, Lenun helped Team Vision win $300k (£227k) by becoming the first Europeans to win the World Series of Warzone.
Now, Lenun has signed for Gen.G, joining another British pro in Welshman Rhys ‘Rated‘ Price.

Back in September, Gen.G entered the esports scene for the battle royale title by signing the All Gamers roster of Rated, ‘Natedogg‘ and Callum ‘ScummN‘ Taylor.
However, the organisation had a disappointing debut at the World Series of Warzone 2025 Global Final, finishing 20th at the 50-team esports event.
Lenun announced the news on social media and said he’s “super grateful for the opportunity, I’m excited to get started with the boys.”
Various members of Gen.G also welcomed him to the organisation, including CEO Arnold Hur, who said:
“[I’m] so excited to be building a squad in CoD Warzone. Grew up with CoD and had only a brief (but really fun) stint in the game for Gen.G and I’m still learning about the competitive Warzone scene.”
At the time of writing, Gen.G has not yet revealed which of their trio of players will be dropped in favour of Lenun.
However, Gen.G’s general manager Justin ‘JKeith’ Keith seemed to suggest that Welshman Rated will be staying and one more signing could be joining:
JKeith claims Gen.G are ‘All in for Warzone 2026’ and then greeted Lenun by saying:
“Welcome to the squad Lenun, I’ve enjoyed watching your energy all year — can’t wait to see you, Rated, and +1 tearing it up on Rebirth Island!”

Outside of Warzone, Gen.G also expanded into Marvel Rivals after creating a super-team of some of Korea’s strongest players.
However, the team’s results didn’t match their ambitions as they failed to win Stage 1 or 2 in Asia and didn’t qualify for the Ignite Grand Finals.
And it was a similar story for Gen.G’s League of Legends team which, just like last year, was considered to be the best in the world.
The team seemed to back that up by winning the LCK Spring and Summer Splits, the Esports World Cup, and the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).
However, Gen.G surprisingly fell short at LoL Worlds again after they were eliminated by KT Rolster in the semi-finals.
