Movistar KOI (MKOI) Co-Owner Ibai Llanos has confirmed that they will retain their entire LEC line-up for the 2026 season.
Alex ‘Myrwn’ Villarejo, Javier ‘Elyoya’ Prades, Joseph ‘Jojopyun’ Pyun, David ‘Supa’ Garcia, and Álvaro ‘Alvaro’ Amo will all return.
The roster, led by returning head coach Tomás ‘Melzhet’ Campelos, won the LEC Spring 2025 split and competed at Worlds 2025.

Ibai and Sergio ‘SergioFFerra’ Salcedo discussed MKOI’s future plans during a Twitch stream on the KOI channel.
The full roster are contracted to MKOI until the end of 2026, but Ibai revealed he is already looking to extend some contracts.
The popular streamer revealed MKOI are in talks to extend the contracts of Elyoya, Jojopyun and Alvaro as well as coach Melzhet.
Canadian midlaner Jojopyun is the first North American to win an LEC title and is supposedly happy in Europe.
This means Myrwnn and Supa are not part of the current renewal discussions and will have to fight for contract extensions.
Keeping hold of Melzhet, who helped build this roster, seems particularly important for MKOI’s plans.

The objective of these teams will be to grow special talent, and to create competition for the #LEC players.

It has been revealed that MKOI are looking to follow in Karmine Corp’s footsteps and create a third academy team.
This secondary academy, in addition to their LVP team, will compete in Spain’s second tier to help develop lesser-known players.
These two academy teams would look to help each develop rookies for future LEC rosters and create competition for the starting roster.
Ibai also stated that MKOI are looking to add two more staff members as the org looks to finally reach the Knockout Stages of LoL Worlds.
LEC 2026 roster rumours
With Worlds 2025 now finished, the offseason rumours for roster swaps ahead of the 2026 season are running rampant.
It appears Jojopyun will no longer be the only North American import in the LEC
Sheep Esports have reported that Karmine Corp have secured highly sought-after support Alan ‘Busio’ Cwalina from FlyQuest.

The American pro has a Polish passport and won’t take up an import slot.
This will allow KCorp to sign Korean midlaner Kang ‘Kyeahoo’ Yea-hoo from DRX while retaining Kim ‘Canna’ Chang-dong in the top lane.
Meanwhile, Los Ratones have confirmed that Simon ‘Baus’ Hofverberg will compete with the team in LEC Versus.
Additionally, Sheep Esports have also reported that Team Vitality are signing former Fnatic midlaner Marek ‘Humanoid’ Brázda.
Humanoid departed Fnatic before the Summer Split after the team was blasted by their coaches for not practising hard enough.
This is a surprising move considering how well rookie midlaner Mateusz ‘Czajek’ Czajka performed for Vitality.
However, Vitality’s strategic coach, Patrick ‘Pad’ Suckow-Breum, defended the decision, saying:
“I can tell you that scouting for mid lane this offseason made it clear that Humanoid in a good environment is cracked.”
