The Mega Dimension DLC will change Lumiose City quite significantly in Pokémon Legends Z-A, with portals all over the city.

You’re able to enter these portals thanks to a mysterious new character called Ansha and her doughnut-loving Hoopa.

Feeding Hoopa different doughnuts will take players into different parts of ‘Hyperspace Lumiose City.’

Some of the released doughnuts clearly show that the primal forms (Mega Evolutions) of Hoenn legends Groudon and Kyogre will appear in the DLC.

There, players will encounter previously-unobtainable Pokémon, including Golisopod, Alolan Marowak, and Garganacl, to extend the Pokédex.

Additionally, many Pokémon in hyperspace can break the classic level cap of 100, with Pokémon up to level 170 showcased in the trailer.

And as expected, the upcoming DLC will add additional story content to Pokémon Legends Z-A as well.

As well as bringing back additional Pokémon, even more new Mega Evolutions have been revealed.

The first revealed was the surprising choice of Mega Chimecho. It will be a psychic and steel type, which seemingly uses sound-based attacks.

Its design sees an outer ring, which looks like its pre-evolution chingling, and six wind chime copies of its body.

Currently, it has not been revealed to how to get Chimecho’s Mega Stone, meaning it will likely be available as story content.

Meanwhile, the other new Mega Evolution is for pseudo-legendary Baxcalibur, the first Mega for a Paldean (Generation 9) Pokémon from Scarlet and Violet.

This new Mega sees the blade on Baxcalibur’s back extend to essentially become a sword.

Furthermore, tt has been announced that Baxcalibur’s Mega Stone will be the ranked reward for Season 4 of Pokémon Legends Z-A.

This follows on from the Mega Stones for Greninja, Delphox, and Chesnaught in the first three seasons.

Additionally, a new Pokémon Legends Z-A Mystery Gift has been announced to allow players to catch Diancie.

The ‘Get Via Internet’ gift will give players the Diancite Mega Stone to obtain Mega Diancie.

This item will then unlock a special Side Mission called ‘Shine Bright like a Gemstone’ to allow players to encounter a Diancie.

Players will need to have finished the main story to activate this event.

Fortunately, no end date has been given for this gift, so it should be available for players for quite some time.
