Swedish esports organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) are hosting a shotwatch with current Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) stars and CS legends.

The event is the celebrate the organisation’s 25th anniversary and will take place on Wednesday, November 5th.

The showmatch will be streamed on NIP’s YouTube and Twitch as well as the Twitch channels of Patrik ‘f0rest’ Lindberg and Christopher ‘GeT_RiGhT’ Alesund.

Who is competing in the Ninjas in Pyjamas 25th Anniversary CS2 showmatch?

NIP’s current CS2 and Impact players will take on an all-star lineup of NIP legends led by f0rest and GeT_RiGhT.

The duo were part of the NIP team, which still holds the record for the longest win streak in CS esports after 87 consecutive wins.

Now a Brand Ambassador of NIP, Patrik ‘f0rest’ Lindberg said:

“I’m looking forward to celebrating this significant milestone for NIP alongside my former teammates from over a decade ago.

“Together we achieved a Major title and a win record that still stands today. It’s now time to prove that we have still got it against some of the best players in the world, who proudly represent NIP today.”

The roster of current NIP players will include Rasmus ‘sjuush’ Beck, Artem ‘r1nkle’ Moroz, and Kacper ‘xKacpersky’ Gabara.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun playing against some of the all-time greats,” says sjuush, one of NIP’s current male CS2 stars.

They will be joined by NIP Impact’s IGL Ksenia ‘vilga’ Klyuenkova and British star Mia ‘aiM’ Cooper.

The future of the women’s team is in doubt as, recently, the ESL Impact women’s CS2 circuit was suspended indefinitely.
