British Call of Duty World Series of Warzone champion Lenun is a free agent

British Call of Duty: Warzone esports pro ‘Lenun’ has announced he is a free agent for the 2026 season.

This news comes just two weeks after he and Team Vision won the World Series of Warzone 2025 Global Finals.

That win in Las Vegas earned him a $100k (£74k) cut as the team earned $300k (£223k) in prize money.

The British trio, also consisting of Ethan ‘Fifakill’ Pink and Echo1867, were the first Europeans to ever win the tournament.

Team Vision also finished sixth at the Esports World Cup Warzone championships, earning another $50k (£37k) for the organisation.

After so much recent success, Lenun had to clarify: “No, this isn’t a troll.”

No reason has been given as to why this move has happened. Lenun did not clarify if this was his choice or Team Vision’s.

This will likely be the first of many CoD Warzone roster moves in the EMEA region.

Following the conclusion of the Global Finals, teams will be busy preparing for the next version of Warzone, which will release with CoD: Black Ops 7.

As of yet, Activision has not announced any details about the next season of the battle royale’s esports circuit.

However, Warzone has already been confirmed as one of the 24 esport titles that will feature at the Esports World Cup 2026.

Confused Warzone community reacts to Lenun’s free agency

As mentioned earlier, Lenun had to clarify that his free agency isn’t a troll, as many were confused as to why Team Vision are letting him go.

Warzone esports caster Andrew ‘Enigma’ Campion’s reaction was:

“I mean this with my whole chest. THE F*CK?!”

While another Warzone broadcast talent, Ellen ‘Dreamcrazzy’ Elizabeth Jean, added that she was “massively confused.”

And yet another on-air talent in  Dan ‘Dandro’ Jandreau also expressed his confusion saying:

“Yeah hey uhhhh… What?”

One fan wondered, “Why wouldn’t y’all run it back?” while another said: “How are you gonna win and then be a free agent?”

Meanwhile, multiple fans began to theory craft and think up of dream rosters they would want to see Lenun join.

The most popular option was for Lenun to reunite with ‘IVisionSR’ and another British pro in Liam ‘Jukeyz’ James.

That trio previously played Warzone together back in 2023, winning the Series of Warzone Stage 1 EU finals and finishing top 10 at the Global Finals.

Jukeyz was named a Red Bull athlete earlier this year and is a very popular figure. IT’s clear to see why fans want to see the two British stars team up again.
