French streamer and co-founder of esports org Gentle Mates, Lucas ‘Squeezie’ Hauchard, has held GP Explorer 3 at Le Mans circuit, October 3-5.
The three-day event featured musicians, famous race-car drivers and content creators from across the world.
Numbers reflect huge engagement with French content creators
Approximately 200,000 tickets were sold for the event across the three days, with ~80,000 attending the Sunday climax.
The event was also a streaming success, garnering 1,366,992 peak viewers according to streaming viewership aggregator StreamCharts. The stream averaged 508,324 viewers, attracting 6,692,928 hours watched.
The event’s success underlines the continued strong engagement for streamer-run events in France, which has seen sold-out arenas and events under the Gentlemates and Karmine Corp brands.
Karmine Corp’s latest KCX showcase, KCX4: Forever rivals, saw approximately 30,000 attend Paris’ La Défense Arena, emphasising the strong brand and engagement with streamer-founded brands.
GP Explorer 3: Pokimane and Hasan among broadcast talent
The Sprint race, the main event of the weekend, was won by Movistar KOI content creator, Karchez.
American and Canadian content creators, Ludwig Ahgren, Michael Reeves, and Cocottee were also part of the race with streamers Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys and Hasan Piker hosting the English broadcast, where they were joined by other content creators throughout the event.

Both Hasan and Ludwig were quick to praise the event for its scope and engagement.
While Ludwig hosts events himself, recently holding Fast 52 under his Mogul Moves production company, he stated, “I can say pretty confidently this event is cooler than any event that has happened in America,” adding, “Inspiring stuff.”
After the event, Hasan stated, “We in the us have no idea how France’s content creators operate!”
Ludwig and Michael Reeves, both part of The Crew Motorfest team, came 14th and 19th, respectively, earning them 9th place in the team standings.
League of Legends desk host and interviewer Laure Valée was also part of the event, as broadcast talent for the French stream.

GP Explorer 3 was billed as “The Last Race”, so seemingly it will be the last iteration of the event. The event was held three times in total, in October 2022, 2023, and now 2025.
While the event may be the last, at least for a while, the event’s success, both on track and in streaming metrics, may inspire further attempts for content creators.
With Ludwig listing the event as inspiration and ramping up his own events, which have included speedrunning events in Fast 52, the Streamer Games (athletic games similar to the Olympics), and others, perhaps the next big streamer racing event will be Stateside.
Whether the event can exist without France’s fanatical streaming fanbase will be the question.
