Marvel Rivals Ignite $1m Grand Finals will be held at DreamHack Atlanta

NetEase has announced that the finals for the first-ever Marvel Rivals Ignite esports Grand Finals will be held at DreamHack Atlanta.

The esports tournament will be hosted by the ESL FACEIT Group.

The $3 million (£2.21m) Marvel Rivals Ignite esports circuit will conclude with the $1m (739k) Grand Finals in October and November.

That £739k makes it Marvel Rivals’ largest individual tournament prize pool since it launched in December last year.

The top 12 Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 2 will travel to the States to decide who is Marvel Rivals’ first-ever world champions.

These teams have not yet been decided, with Stage 2 tournaments in each region concluding in early October.

Ignite will see the top four teams from the Americas, EMEA’s top three, Asia’s top two, China’s top two, and Oceania’s number one team.

The Marvel Rivals Ignite Group Stage is set to take place from October 27th to 29th, presumably without a live crowd.

Then the Playoffs and Finals will be held in the Georgia World Congress Centre at DreamHack Atlanta from October 31st to November 2nd.

While it has been confirmed that the event will feature Rivals’ largest prize pool, NetEase hasn’t announced the prize distributions.

Other Esports Events at DreamHack Atlanta

Marvel Rivals Ignite will be just one of the many esports events taking place at the festival later this year.

EA FC 26 will see one of its first esports events come to Atlanta with the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier.

Game developer SNK is hosting the 2025 SNK World Championship with tournaments across four of its titles.

There will be esports tournaments in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, The King of Fighters XV, Samurai Shodown, and Art of Fighting 3.

The combined prize pool of these four fighting game titles comes to $4.1m (£3.03m), with Fatal Fury featuring $2.5m (£1.8m) alone.

Additionally, DreamHack Atlanta will host a Counter-Strike 2 event, which is a qualifier for ESL Pro League Season 23 with a $100k (£73.9k) prize pool.

And mobile gaming giants Supercell will be hosting the World Championships for its two major titles: Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.

The Clash of Clans World Championship will see the top mobile players compete for a $700k (£517k) prize pool,

Meanwhile, the Clash Royale League World Finals will feature $500k(£369k) in prizing.

And if that wasn’t enough, DreamHack is bringing its festival to the UK and Birmingham for the first time in 2026.

DreamHack and the ESL One Dota 2 event will be held in the Midlands in March next year.
