Riot Games has announced that the official song for the League of Legends World Championship 2025 will star G.E.M.
G.E.M. is a massive pop star in China; her song ‘Light Years Away’ still holds the Guinness World Record for most views on a Chinese music video with over 240 billion.
Her song for Worlds has been created alongside Italian electronic music artist Anyma, which will be released on October 10th.
The song has already been teased at a G.E.M concert, which appears to be called ‘The Kingdom Comes’ judging by the revealed lyrics.

This year’s tournament is taking place across China, with the final being held in the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu.
Gen.G are early favourites on LoL betting sites to win the prestigious event.
“Having followed LoL Esports for some time, I’ve been deeply moved by the fighting spirit on stage, says G.E.M.
“The courage to sacrifice for the team and the strength to hold on to one’s beliefs resonate with me not only as an artist, but also as someone who has risen against the odds and poured everything into pursuing a dream.
“I hope to capture that spirit through music and share it with fans all around the world.”
Anyma then added:
“I’ve been an avid gamer all my life, so headlining Worlds 2025 is a real honour.”

As well as the Worlds song, the 2025 final opening ceremony will also feature performances from TEYA and Chrissy Costanza.
Many LoL fans will already be very familiar with Against the Current’s lead singer Costanza.
She performed both the Worlds 2017 anthem ‘Legends Never Die’ and the 2019 Worlds anthem ‘Phoenix.’
Meanwhile, TEYA is an Austrian singer who went viral at Eurovision 2023 for her song ‘Who the Hell Is Edgar?’

Additionally, Riot Games has announced that the classic Summoner’s Cup trophy will return for LoL Worlds 2025 with a refreshed look.
The original silhouette for the World Championship has returned with modern updates.
Namely, the trophy is now nearly half the weight of the previous edition so it’s easier for players to lift.
The original design was replaced three years ago due to a partnership with Tiffany and Co.
Although, Riot is keeping the tradition established by Tiffany of engraving the previous winners on the trophy base.
Now that T1 have qualified for LoL Worlds 2025, Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok could be the first to lift all three versions of the trophy.
