Team Vitality partner with Paris Saint-Germain for EA FC 26 esports

French esports organisation Team Vitality are collaborating with 2025 Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in a multi-year partnership.

The partnership is focused on the next two EA FC Pro seasons, starting just in time for EA FC 26.

PSG.Vitality will be represented by Vitality’s two remaining FC pros, Ilian Bouchi and Brice Masson.

They will be joined by Head Coach Johann ‘ManiiKa’ Simon, who previously competed in FIFA for PSG between 2017 and 2022.

However, the organisation will not be represented by veteran pro Corentin ‘RocKy’ Chevrey who departed Vitality back in August.

RocKy biggest career came back in 2017 when he won the $160k (£118) FUT17 Championship.

On the other hand, Brice finished runner-up at the Esports World Cup’s FC Pro World Championship earlier this year.

He took home $150k (£110k) in prizes after losing to Team Liquid’s Manuel ‘ManuBachoore’ Bachoore in the final.

Meanwhile, Brice and Illian finished runner-up in eLigue 1 earlier this year after losing to FC Lorient.

Next year, they will represent PSG in the virtual version of France’s top football division. They may be early favourites on esports betting sites.

However, first Brice and Ilian will be preparing for the FC Pro Open, which kicks off on September 22nd.

Speaking about resigning with Vitality and joining PSG Brice said:

“[I’m] so proud to be able to represent these two exceptional clubs. Happy to stay at home at Vitality for a second season.”

Paris Saint-Germain’s history in esports

PSG has been involved in esports since 2016.

Unsurprisingly, the football club got started in esports with FIFA with August ‘Agge’ Rosenmeier and Lucas ‘DaXe’ Cuillerier.

However, that same year PSG also surprisingly entered League of Legends, joining the Challenger Series to try and qualify for the LEC.

PSG departed the LoL scene at the end of 2017 before returning in 2020 with Hong-Kong-based Talon Esports.

The joint teams won various regional trophies and attended multiple LoL World Championships before splitting at the beginning of 2025.

However, PSG returned to League of Legends and brought their legendary player Maple out of retirement earlier this year.

PSG Talon have once again qualified for this year’s LoL Worlds tournament but faced stiff competition in the LCP from CTBC Flying Oysters.

PSG Talon also still compete in Rainbow Six Siege and mobile game Arena of Valor.

The joint organisation also previously competed in Dota 2 while PSG has also had stints in Rocket League, Brawl Stars, and MLBB.
