Fortnite Champions Series (FNCS) has outlined new plans for the competitive side of Fortnite in 2026 with some exciting changes coming to the game in the next year.
The announcement comes shortly after the conclusion of the 2025 Fortnite Global Championship which took place in France at the beginning of September.
Queasy, Merstach, and Swizzy won the Global Championship where they took home a prize pool of £355,000.

Fortnite have made some exciting changes ahead of the new campaign with two new LAN tournaments introduced for 2026.
There will also be a total prize pool of £740,035 available for players in the new FNCS mobile tournament series.
One of the biggest changes coming to the Fortnite competitive scene in 2026 is the change away from trios. The competitive scene has featured duos in both 2023 and 2024 so the game is set to return to duos in the coming months.
How many FNCS LAN tournaments will take place in 2026?
Not everything has been revealed by Fortnite and Epic Games just yet but we do know that there will be four official LAN tournaments in 2026.
FNCS new events
- FNCS Mid-Season LAN – A brand-new international event that will bring the best players together more frequently.
- Reload Elite Series LAN – Competitive LANs tied to the Fortnite Reload mode.
