EA FC 26 is just a few weeks away from release, with EA Sports promising a huge host of changes.
EA Sports claims that the new game has taken on more fan feedback than any previous game in the franchise.
That includes Career Mode, with the manager simulation mode undergoing a complete revamp.
However, one of the dullest parts of Career Mode has still been left untouched for EA FC 26.

To the disappointment of many, EA FC 26 has not updated the press conference system in this year’s Career Mode.
For years now, the press conferences have featured mostly the same questions and are used solely to boost squad morale.
EA did update press conferences for EA FC 25 so that players could become complacent by gaining too much morale.
However, there were still only downsides to the humble and downplay options, making the feature feel uninspiring.
Context: German YouTuber GamerBrother questioned the low number of third kits in several leagues, in addition to the lack of goalkeeper kits. Dev said it is not because of the lack of licensing but because of the work involved in bringing the uniforms to all teams in all leagues.

It feels like a missed opportunity, especially with all the unexpected events that can happen in EA FC 26 Career Mode.
Events such as financial takeovers, behind-the-scenes documentaries, and international injuries should lead to unique questioning.
Especially in events where your job is on the line or the club’s public image needs fixing, such as after leaked wage bills.
Additionally, players have also revealed that the Career Mode coaching staff system is unchanged for EA FC 26 too.

Players will still have to hire new staff to improve their players’ development and implementation of tactics.
Despite all the new changes, these features remaining the same has disappointed a lot of Career Mode players.
It could push some away from buying the new game, especially as Football Manager 26 looks worth the long wait.
What is new in EA FC 26 Career Mode?
While complaints are understandable, there is also a lot of new Career Mode changes in EA FC 26 to be excited for.
New Manager Live Challenges will give Career Mode players unique scenarios to take on and test their managerial skills.
These scenarios can be short, like playing five crucial matches of the season, or long, like achieving three consecutive promotions.
Managers can also make their Careers even harder with Unexpected Events creating random scenarios which complicate things throughout the season.

Another big new addition is the introduction of a manager market, which will see managers transfer to different clubs, just like players.
And, in what could be one of the biggest changes in the franchise’s history, EA has implemented two types of gameplay.
The authentic gameplay for offline modes like Career Mode makes matches more tense with added realism, grounded physics, and better AI defending.
