Stage 2 of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) has concluded with all Valorant Champions Paris teams now confirmed.
In EMEA, Team Liquid finally claimed the crown after coming close on multiple occasions earlier in the year.
Now, Riot Games has revealed the agents with the highest pick rates combined across all the Stage 2 competitions.
There could be some nerfs on the way.

At least, that’s what Omen players are fearing as the agent was the post-picked in all four regions.
Omen was picked in at least 74% of matches, with VCT CN picking the controller in an astonishing 86% of games.
The utility of Omen’s Paranoia ability has proven to be too effective for pros to not pick in most games.
However, some members of the community are begging Riot to buff other controllers rather than nerfing Omen directly.
DON'T NERF OMEN, BUFF OTHER CONTROLLERS. Is Clove even a controller atp, their smokes are like jett's https://t.co/to0XXrZ0zH pic.twitter.com/gCUbVAmarq

As for the second and third most-picked, it was a toss-up between Viper and Sova who appeared in the top three of each region.
Viper had the second-highest pick rate in VCT Americas and VCT Pacific at 59% and 56% respectively.
Another controller, Viper’s ability to block vision saw her picked in 50% of games in China and 46% of games in EMEA too.
Though, China and EMEA showed a preference to Sova with 52% and 54% pick rate for the initiator.
And Sova also appeared in 51% of games in the Americas and Pacific despite various nerfs since his release.
What Next For VALORANT Esports?
To finish off the year, the best teams in the world are now gearing up to travel to Paris for Valorant Champions 2025.
With Riot confirming Pick’Ems is returning for Valorant Champions, it’s good to be prepared.
The prestigious event kicks off on September 12th and concludes on October 5th with a $2.25 million (£1.67m) prize pool.
The winner will take home $1m (£744k) in prize money and will be declared the Valorant world champions.
EMEA’s four participants are Stage 2 champions Team Liquid and runners-up GIANTX, as well as Fnatic and Team Heretics.
Though Valorant betting sites currently have Valorant Masters Toronto champions Paper Rex as tournament favourites.
The tournament will signal the end of the season, with the same format returning in 2026, as Champions will take place in Shanghai.
Then after that, Riot have teased that 2027 will signal a new era for Valorant esports, but it’s too soon for details to be revealed.
