Blitzcrank has been officially unveiled as the latest champion in the upcoming 2XKO fighting game.
The League of Legends support will be a playable character in the 2XKO closed beta, which launches Tuesday, September 9th.
Riot Games plans to then keep the game online for the foreseeable future outside of maintenance, though no public release date has been announced.
Riot had also previously announced the latest champion after Blitzcrank in 2XKO was accidentally leaked.
The new gameplay trailer confirms that Bliztcrank will be a big-body character with a grappling playstyle.
Hilariously, if Blitzcrank whiffs a grab, three question marks will appear above his head.
His iconic Rocket Grab ability features prominently in his kit, seemingly able to destroy projectiles and pull characters across the screen.
It is also the basis of his ultimate in 2XKO.
The ult sees Bliztcrank pull his opponent toward him with a punch, waiting before rocket grabbing the opponent to the ground and launching himself into the air for a splash.

One unexpected move sees Blitzcrank hook onto the ceiling with his arm before spinning his body to become a wrecking ball mid-air.
Blitzcrank’s mana shield from LoL also appears in the trailer as it seemingly stopped him from being damaged by Jinx’s rocket.
The trailer also features some hilarious voice lines, including “trash detected” and “they are not constructed like me.”
Blitzcrank is the ninth champion revealed for the game, with the full roster for the closed beta being:

Everything you need to know about the 2XKO beta
The 2XKO beta is launching exclusively on PC on September 9th.
It won’t be available on console, but Riot has confirmed that there will be cross-platform progression so players can switch to console later.
According to Riot, the beta will roll out across regions, with North and South America getting the game first.
The 2XKO closed beta is expected to go live at around 11am PT (7pm BST).
Alpha Lab 1 and 2 players will automatically be invited to the beta, while more will be sent codes.
Plus, those who have beta access will be able to invite up to three friends to join them.
The game is expected to remain online from this point onwards, though details of console and public releases for 2XKO have not been confirmed.
