The first ALGS Split 2 stats are in after Week 1 of the Apex Legends Global Series season.
Which weapons and Legends will be meta over the next few weeks? Which teams had a strong start to the season, and who are fans yet to see on broadcast? ENUK breaks down what Week 1 tells us about the Split ahead.
ALGS Split 2 weapons meta
One weapon has emerged definitively as the gun of choice in the ALGS Split 2 stats from Week 1: the Peacekeeper.
Across three of the four ALGS regions, the Peacekeeper claimed the most kills. The weapon claimed 80 kills in EMEA, 98 in APAC-North, and a whopping 122 in the Americas.
During Game 4 in the Americas, played on E District, ROC Epsorts perfectly demonstrated the strength of the Peacekeeper with several well-placed shots in the final circle, ultimately securing a win. ROC picked up 16 kills in the process.

APAC-South was the only region without the Peacekeeper at the top of the weapons leaderboard. The R-99 SMG took the most kills instead, with 78 compared to the Peacekeeper’s 52.
For long-range (50m +) kills, the 30-30 repeater remains strong. The 30-30 claimed the most 50m + kills in all four ALGS regions.
ALGS Split 2 Legends meta
Cuastic was the first Legend ban in all four regions. This means that he was the most popular Legend selection in every one of the first ALGS games.
However, regions diversified in their second round of bans. While the Americas and APAC-South had Wattson as their second most popular Legend pick, EMEA banned Alter, and APAC-North banned Crypto.
Wattson and Alter seemed to overall form the next strongest Legend picks, after the clear autistic frontrunner.
Cuastic was buffed alongside Bangalore in the most recent Apex Legends Season: Showdown.

Despite a lower pick rate in the overall playerbase data, Caustic is likely to retain his spot as a popular pick moving forward, as seen in ALGS Split 2 stats. However, Bangalore’s changes were not enough to launch her into the Pro League spotlight.
Which teams had the best ALGS Split 2 stats in Week 1?
Some surprise teams performed well in Week 1 of ALGS Pro League.
The Americas Split 2 Week 1
In the Americas, the unsigned team “ZZ” finished at the top of the leaderboard. Zachary ‘Zachmazer’ Mazer, Zachary ‘Gild’ Dennis, and Nicholas ‘Sikezz’ Odom, coached by Winnie ‘tiltedwinnie’ Long are still looking for an organisation to represent.
However, despite their unsigned status, they picked up three top-five games out of the six played in each series. Combining three high placements with consistent kill points kept them in a comfortable position throughout.
Despite their roster being labelled as the “Apex Legends Superteam,” Team Falcons likely desired more from their ALGS Split 2 debut. Despite five top-ten placements, they were unable to pick up the necessary kill points to rise through the ranks.
EMEA Split 2 Week 1
EMEA saw the rise of CYBERCATS in Week 1. The team won Game 1 and maintained an average placement of 3.8 across the six-game series.

Finishing second place overall were kill leaders Citadel Caming.
Additional notable performances came from Alliance, who were third in kills and fifth overall, maintaining the consistent performance for which they are internationally recognised.
Beginning Split 2 with the same consistency bodes well for Alliance on esports betting sites, which are likely to list the EMEA team as a favourite to win the January 2026 ALGS Year 5 Championship.
The newly formed free agent team “o7” also attracted attention with their Game 6 win.
Veteran players Casper ‘Gnaske’ Præstensgaard and Francisco ‘k4shera’ Alves picked up Adam ‘AdaM_zZ’ Fekkari during the ALGS transfer window, a move that ENUK explored in the Apex Roster Tracker for summer 2025.
As identified in this tracker and demonstrated in Week 1, the trio will likely be a fascinating watch as the season continues.
APAC-North and South Split 2 Week 1
In APAC-North and South, EnterForce.36, Fnatic, Wolves Esports, and Gen.G Esports all performed well.
In ENUK’s Groups preview, Gen.G were identified as a potential standout team due to the trio’s longevity in Apex Legends.
Jirayut ‘Z1CKKY’ Apiwongngam, Papangkorn ‘ASIAZXD’ Pattarawonghan, and Lertpong ‘Dexter’ Nakurai reaffirmed their status as a key team to watch. They finished Week 1 in second place, with the second-most kills and a game win.
However, Wolves Esports also had an impressively dominating start to Split 2. They were top of the board in almost all APAC-South ALGS Split 2 stats for the opening week, with one win, two second-place finishes, and one third-place finish. Their lowest placement in Week 1 was 6th.
In APAC-North, Enter Force.36 finished at the top of the leaderboard. However, the popular Japanese extension of Fnatic also performed well, finishing third overall with an impressive start in the first two games.

How much can we rely on Week 1 as an indicator for the rest of the split?
In the ALGS format, two of three groups play each weekend in each region. Therefore, Group C in each region has yet to play any matches.
This is unlikely to affect weapon or Legend meta predictions from the Week 1 ALGS Split 2 stats. However, it will impact predictions on which teams are expected to excel throughout the rest of the split.
Teams that have yet to play include 100 Thieves, Riddle Order, Virtus.pro, and Shopify Rebellion. These four teams alone could significantly shake up predictions on who will perform well during the Split.
As the ALGS Split 2 stats update in the upcoming weeks, ENUK will continue to monitor how teams perform in each region.
For now, there are already standout teams, weapons, and Legends picks to look out for as pros embark on their Split 2 journey.
All figues are according to Apex Legends Satus ALGS statistics.
