Riot Games have officially unveiled the next line of League of Legends Worlds skins for the historic T1 triumph in 2024.
The T1 squad defeated Bilibili Gaming 3-2 at the O2 Arena in London to lift the Worlds Summoner Cup trophy for the second year in a row.
Now, the new personalised skins for Choi ‘Zeus’ Woo-je, Mun ‘Oner’ Hyeon-jun, Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok, Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyeong, and Ryu ‘Keria’ Min-seok have been revealed.
They have been given skins for Gnar, Vi, Sylas, Varus, and Pyke.
And Faker has been given an additional Prestige Yone skin for being awarded MVP at the finals.
Zeus, who now plays for Hanwha Life, was clever and selected Gnar to earn himself two skins. Both versions of Gnar adorably have recalls which reference the fact that Zeus banged his head on the trophy when lifting it.
Meanwhile, Gumayusi’s new Varus skin also has a Worlds easter egg.
The new Varus recall summons a giant croissant, just like the one Gumayusi was gifted on-stage in Paris during the semi-finals and he infamously reviewed: “It’s goooooood!”
But perhaps the coolest recall of all is on Oner’s new Vi skin.
Her new recall sees Vi seemingly charge up a Hadouken before uppercutting the boxing bag.
But then, in a nice personal touch, Vi wears Oner’s Worlds jacket from the 2024 final with his name on the back.
As a collective, the skins all have a dark and gritty theme with silver and the iconic T1 red as the main colours.
All of the new T1 skins are currently available on the PBE. The final versions will likely be released in LoL sometime in September.
Every Faker skin in League of Legends
Faker has had a remarkable career to the point that he now has 10 different skins in League of Legends.
Though one is actually his Chibi T1 Orianna in TeamFight Tactics.
And that 10 count doesn’t include all the forms of his Hall of Legends Ahri skins.
Faker will probably get even more skins too as he and T1 are one of the favourites to win Worlds again on LoL betting sites.
The iconic midlaner got his first skin back in 2013 for his legendary Zed.
Faker then earned another two skins during the SKT T1 era for Ryze and Syndra.
Next, Riot gifted him two exclusive Ahri skins and one Le Blanc skin for being the first Hall of Legends inductee.
T1’s Worlds win in 2023 had Faker earn a skin for Orianna plus the aforementioned TFT chibi.
And now, he has added T1 Sylas and Prestige T1 Yone to the list for 2024’s historic victory.
With such an iconic career, it’s no surprise that Faker is making celebrity cameos in K-pop music videos.
