How Valorant Premier works
Premier has 22 divisions, grouped from Open 1–5 (lowest) to Invite (highest).
Teams play two Bo1 matches per week on each map, with resets every Tuesday. To reach the Playoffs, teams in Open to Elite divisions need 600 Premier Score, while Contender and Invite divisions qualify based on weekly standings.
Only teams in Contender (top two) or Invite (Playoff winners) can advance to Challengers.
Participants receive a player card, and Playoff winners earn a title and gun buddy. Requirements include an account in good standing, SMS verification, and at least one ranked placement.
Valorant mobile launch generates $1 million
Valorant Mobile, launched in China on August 19, 2025, saw 170,000 downloads and $1 million in revenue on its first day.
The game, developed by Tencent and Riot Games with Lightspeed Studios, features 18 agents and nine maps, including two mobile-exclusive maps, Shipyard and Ancient Village.
Valorant Mobile has climbed to the top of iOS’ most-downloaded charts and is the seventh biggest earner in the store.
Riot Games plans a Chinese esports circuit and a major event with OnePlus later this year, with global release and esports details still pending.
Given China’s head start, their esports teams will undoubtedly be favourites on Valorant betting sites when the international tournaments come around.
Meanwhile, two Ascension teams will represent China at Valorant Champions Paris.
Xi Lai Gaming and Dragon Ranger Gaming will join Bilibili Gaming and EDward Gaming, who already confirmed their spots by climbing the VCT China points standings.
