EA Sports has started sending out closed beta codes for the upcoming EA FC 26, and people have already glitched it.
PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Xbox players have all been randomly sent codes to gain access to try the game early.
It was confirmed last month that EA FC 26 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, but with missing features.
The code is supposed to only unlock one of Career or Clubs modes, as well as Kick-Off, Learn to Play, Online Seasons, Co-op Seasons and Online Friendlies.
Ultimate Team is supposed to be coming to the beta too, at a later date, but players have found ways around that.
Some have found they can sneakily get into Ultimate Team by trying to purchase the season pass in the beta.
Otherwise, by going onto the main menu and switching off the internet, beta players have somehow managed to unlock all EA FC 26 modes.
The full steps on how to unlock all modes in the EA FC 26 beta are:
- Open the beta.
- Once in the main menu, return to the console/PC home menu.
- Within your platform’s settings, find the network settings and disconnect from the internet.
- Wait a few seconds, then re-enable your internet connection
- Return to the Beta’s main screen and all modes should be available
This glitch likely won’t work for long, as news of it has spread like wildfire and EA Sports will be working on a fix.
And Ultimate Team should be available to closed beta players soon, in any case, as the FUT deep dive reveal is coming today, August 5th.
The extremely popular mode sees players gamble so often on packs, it’s up there with top gambling sites.
Still, players have discovered some EA FC 26 Ultimate Team secrets early, including that the tunnel animation for walkouts has been removed.
How to get into the EA FC 26 closed beta?
To get into the exclusive closed beta, you’ll unfortunately need a lot of luck.
EA is randomly sending codes to the email addresses of those with EA accounts.
However, unlike in previous years, beta codes for EA FC 26 aren’t locked to accounts.
That means if you scroll through Twitter, Reddit and other social media platforms, you may find users who can give you a spare code.
Especially as multiple players have reported receiving codes for the wrong platforms, such as an Xbox player receiving a Switch code.
EA Sports is also going to send out more codes before the beta closes on August 26th.
The game will then have its full release a month later, making it available for everyone on September 26th.
