Riot Games has confirmed that its new League of Legends card game, Riftbound, will release in English on October 31st.
Riftbound is a physical trading card game (TCG) like Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Disney Lorcana.
It is the second LoL-themed card game following on from the digital TCG, Legends of Runeterra.
WE AREN'T DONE YET! Collecting Riftbound: Origins, and Deckbuilding articles (along with Champion decklists) are now live on the Riftbound website. As a treat. 👀 https://t.co/j9ItARgXq4 pic.twitter.com/0s2iWkfKdE

In fact, Riftbound borrows a lot of the same art from Legend of Runeterra’s cards. After all, it’s Riot’s own art.
Unlike the stolen art that had to be removed from Pokémon TCG Pocket of Ho-Oh.
League of Legends Riftbound release details
Riftbound’s first set, Origins, will be available at local game stores in North America, EMEA, LATAM, and Oceania on October 31st.
Riot Games has confirmed four products for this initial English release.
Of course, there will be the usual Booster Packs, each containing 14 random cards each with a variety of rarities.
Players will also be able to purchase Booster Boxes with each containing 24 packs, so 336 cards in total.
There will also be Proving Grounds starter box sets designed to play with two to four players, containing Annie, Garen, Lux, and Master Yi decks.
They look CRAAAAZY 🔥

And finally, there will be premade, ready-to-play Champions Decks based around Viktor, Jinx, and Lee Sin.
On top of those, local stores will also stock card sleeves and playmats featuring Ahri, Jinx, Miss Fortune and Volibear.
The top payout casino sites might be a good idea, with so many packs and accessories available.
Riot has said it will launch a store locator on August 4th so that fans can find their local trading card sellers.
Limited preorders will also be available on the Riot Games Merch Store starting on August 4th from 5pm BST.
These preorders will include Proving Grounds box sets, Champion Decks, and Booster Boxes.
However, those preorders will have the following limitations on each Riot ID to prevent scalpers:
- 2 Origins Booster Boxes
- 3 Origins: Proving Grounds
- 3 Origins: Jinx Champion Decks
- 3 Origins: Viktor Champion Decks
- 3 Origins: Lee Sin Champion Decks
Riot Games also revealed that there will be special launch events following the Halloween release date, with the chance to pick up promo booster packs.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that The Arcane Boxed set, which was showcased during the TFT Macao Open, will be available for preorder at the end of August.
And even more content is coming as Riot stated that a limited-edition Riftbound x Worlds bundle is expected to drop later this year.
