Jack ‘ApparentlyJack’ Benton faced heartbreak at Raleigh’s Lenovo Center, as his Dignitas team fell 4-1 to Team Falcons in the Grand Final of the RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major. Team Falcons took home the trophy without a single defeat, making history for MENA and the organisation.
Dignitas had a hugely impressive run in Raleigh, defeating Karmine Corp and Vitality, but lost on three separate occasions to their ultimate nemesis, Team Falcons, a match-up the team simply could not overcome.
Dignitas’s strong run at RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major ends in Grand Final defeat
Despite taking Game 1 of the Grand Final, Dignitas were controlled by Team Falcons who gave the European roster no room to breathe in the four consecutive Falcons victories that followed. Dignitas, the American-owned organisation, headquartered and originally founded in London, was looking for its first Rocket League title since 2021, but will have to wait.
GGS congrats to @TeamFalconsGG they are amazing and deserved the major.

I didn’t hold my level in the finals compared to the rest of the playoffs, that’s my bad. I’m still very proud of myself and the team, we keep on improving little by little. We’ll get there
Thanks for all…
In the semi-finals, Dignitas defeated, at the time, the odds favourites for the event by dismantling Vitality 4-1 in a series that shocked announcers and the fans. “ApparentlyJack is apparently the GOAT right now,” remarked caster Elyse ‘Herculyse’ Herrera as the Brit made an incredible save in overtime of Game 5, to then go on and score the winner of the series a matter of moments later.
But that was as good as it got for Jack and his team, as Dignitas could not stop this imperious Falcons roster from taking home the organisation’s first Rocket League major.
Twisted Minds rise. to occasion
England’s Finlay ‘rise.’ Ferguson played a vital role as Twisted Minds pulled off one of the most memorable comebacks in Rocket League history in defeating Birmingham Major winners, Karmine Corp 4-3, from a 0-3 deficit. The Twisted Minds reverse sweep looked impossible after a 5-0 defeat in Game 3, with the MENA-classified team only scoring a single goal in the first three contests.
Yet an extremely tightly contested Game 4 switched the momentum, K Corp began to feel the pressure and what had been dominant control, leading to a historic comeback as the defending major champs were eliminated in the first round of the lower bracket.
IMO biggest upset in #RLCS history

rise. and his teammates eventually fell to NRG in the lower bracket, but the 5th-6th place finish gave Twisted Minds their best result at a major and gave them a permanent place in the memories of Rocket League fans around the world.
