A reliable leaker has revealed alleged release dates for both versions of EA Sports’ EA FC 26.
Trusted leaker FUT Sheriff has revealed that EA FC will release for everyone in September, with Ultimate Edition purchasers getting a week of early access.
This lines up with the July-September window EA Sports announced for the game in its quarterly financial results.
Earlier leaks had suggested EA FC 26 would release much earlier than expected in August.
And many believed this report, assuming this was to make way for the release of Rockstar’s heavily anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6.
However, GTA 6 has been delayed to March 2026, allowing EA to release EA FC 26 within its usual date range.
EA FC 26 release date leaked
According to FUT Sheriff, EA FC 26 will release September 19th for Ultimate Edition players and September 26th for everyone else.
This will mean the game will release a few weeks after the Premier League’s transfer window closes to allow for fully up-to-date squads.
Sheriff also claims that the Ultimate Edition’s pre-order bonuses have been revealed, in addition to the seven days of early access.
According to the account, those who pre-order the premium edition before August 26th will receive an untradeable base Icon, between 4,600 to 6,000 FC Points, an additional Evolution slot, the Season 1 Premium Pass, and one of five unique 93+ Icon Evolutions.
However, nothing official has been announced for the game.
There is hope that Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena will return for EA FC 26 after Konami lost rights to the German champion’s licences.
Using the same logic, Mexico’s Liga MX could return to the game too, after Konami removed all of the league’s clubs from eFootball 2025.
Liga MX has been missing since FIFA 22 after Konami signed an exclusivity deal with the league.
