The League of Legends EMEA Masters Spring 2025 Grand Final is set with a huge match-up.
NLC champions Los Ratones and LVP Superliga champions Barça eSports will battle for the trophy.
The two teams met earlier in the Group Stages with Barça dominating the series 2-0.
Now, Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont’s team will have a chance at revenge as Los Ratones attempt to win back-to-back EMEA titles.
Barça eSports outclass Karmine Corp Blue to reach the EMEA finals
The LoL esports team of Barcelona’s football club have been exceptional this tournament.
Their excellent form continued into the Semifinals as they maintained their trend of winning 3-1 for a third consecutive series.
The LFL’s Karmine Corp Blue are always tough opposition, but Barça effectively dealt with the challenge.
Barça lost Game 2 after a team fight in the first minutes of the game set them heavily behind.
But otherwise, Barça kept their composure and controlled the series to cleanly best their opposition.
Paweł ‘Czekolad’ Szczepanik, who formerly played for Excel in the LEC, was dominant in his mid lane match-up and made up for a few avoidable deaths with some excellent plays.
The team’s Spanish duo also impressed throughout the series.
Jungler Francisco ‘Thayger’ Mazo only had one death in Barça’s three losses with his Wukong in Game 1, particularly impressive.
And botlaner Sergio ‘Legolas’ Vicente Gispert terrorised KCB with his Jinx in Game 4 to help his team get a clean ace, which set them up for victory.
Los Ratones’ chance at revenge
Earlier this week, Los Ratones qualified for their second consecutive EMEA Masters Grand Final after dominating LFL champions BK ROG Esports 3-0.
And on Saturday, they have the opportunity to enact their revenge on Barça, who 2-0’d them in the Group Stages.
The last meeting between the two teams saw Barça outclass Los Ratones with excellent macro across the map.
That series was one to forget for promising jungler Veljko Velja’ Čamdžić, who will need to play much better to get the better of Thayler in the jungle match-up in the final.
So far, the tournament has matched the exact same pattern as last split’s.
At EMEA Masters Winter, Los Ratones lost early on to KCB only to go undefeated for the remainder of the tournament.
But Barça also have shown impressive composure so far and have three players who are previous EMEA Master champions.
However, Los Ratones are favoured to complete the double according to our LoL betting sites.
