Ferrari has announced the return of its HP Esports Series for the 2025 season, offering sim racers a chance to join the prestigious esports team.
The 2024 edition saw 17,000 entrants, with British sim racer Luke Whitehouse emerging victorious.
Whitehouse claimed the title at the LAN finals held at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, and he now represents the Italian automotive company in various sim racing events.
The winner of the 2025 edition will be assessed for potential recruitment into the Scuderia Ferrari HP Esports team. There are currently 14 drivers on the team, competing across different tournaments.
Ferrari HP Esports Series 2025 format
The Ferrari HP Esports Series for 2025 kicked off on June 2nd with six weeks of global hot laps.
Week one will begin with British circuit Silverstone on Assetto Corsa. Each week will feature a different track on one of Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, or iRacing.
The top 10 times each week secure a spot in the regional finals, while those placing 11th to 30th advance to the regional qualifiers. Ferrari has not yet disclosed the dates for the regional finals or the grand final.
A statement on Ferrari’s website said: “From Silverstone to Misano, from Assetto Corsa to iRacing, this stage is designed to test consistency, adaptability, and raw speed.”
The company added that the 2025 edition aims to elevate the competition with broader global participation.

Ferrari announces new esports team recruitment
On Tuesday, Ferrari confirmed that Ismael Fahssi is the latest addition to their esports team. They stated that Fahssi would be part of their roster for the Formula One Sim Racing Championship.
In a statement, they said: “A young and highly promising talent in the international sim racing scene, Fahssi will be part of the team’s roster for the F1 Sim Racing Championship. He will join Bari Broumand and John Evans, with the goal of continuing to make history in Ferrari’s Esports journey.
“At the same time, the team bids a heartfelt and grateful farewell to Nicolas Longuet, who ends his time in red after two seasons. With his experience and determination, Longuet played a key role in securing the 2023/2024 F1 Sim Racing Constructors’ World Championship.”
Fahssi finished second in the 2025 Formula One Sim Racing Championship, driving for the Williams Esports team.
He won the opening race of the season and finished 19 points behind champion Jarno Opmeer.
In another recent driver move, Lucas Blakeley left the McLaren Shadow team. Blakeley won the F1 Sim Racing World Championship with the team in 2022.
