Following its successful recent launch Atomfall is set to release its first expansion pack called the ‘Wicked Isle’, with some exciting new content coming to the game in early June.
The expansion goes live on June 3rd and will develop the already existing story as well as opening up a new location to players.
Wicked Isle DLC
Atomfall officially launched at the end of March 2025 and the game was immediately met with positive reviews, leading to its first DLC after just two months.
The initial reviews of Atomfall have been so good that the game has even been nominated for Best Game at the Develop: Star Awards 2025 in Brighton in July.
While Atomfall’s developers, Rebellion, haven’t released too much information about the DLC just yet, they have teased fans with a short trailer for the expansion pack.
Although the details about Wicked Isle remain very thin, with the game set in the North of England it could be fair to assume the new location is based on an island off the coast – possibly the Isle of Man.
With the initial game’s story mode taking around 5/6 hours to complete, the first DLC will certainly be a welcome change for players who will get a new story to get stuck into at the beginning of June.
How to get Wicked Isle DLC in Atomfall
Part of the reason that Atomfall has been so popular already is due to the game being free for players on both Xbox and PC Game Pass, but that is about to change.
While the survival-action game will remain on the Game Pass still, the DLC will not be included in the current edition.
Those interested in playing the Wicked Isle DLC will have to purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game or buy the expansion pack separately (prices are yet to be confirmed by Rebellion).
