Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen was spotted posing for a photo with his very own personalised Team Falcons jersey during the Monaco Grand Prix.
The four-time World Drivers’ Championship winner wasn’t able to win over the weekend but he was able to celebrate Red Bull’s newest sponsorship deal with Team Falcons whose representatives made an appearance at the race.
Falcons and Red Bull have crossed paths recently, with Team Falcons Vega winning the Red Bull sponsored Instalock 2025 early in May.
Red Bull sponsors Team Falcons
Red Bull has expanded its presence on the esports scene, with the energy drink officially announcing a sponsorship alongside the popular Team Falcons.
There has been no other information about the sponsorship apart from their posts across social media, however the announcement coming from one of Red Bull’s biggest athletes is sure to excite fans for the future.
Red Bull will team up with Team Falcons alongside its already existing sponsors and partners which include NEO Digital Banking, Manga Productions, STC Group, and Kudu Saudi Arabia.
Max Verstappen’s presence in esports
Max Verstappen isn’t a stranger to the esports scene and this certainly isn’t his first venture into the world. The Formula 1 star is a big part of Red Bull Racing’s ‘Team Redline’ project which was formed over 20 years ago.
Team Redline is a ‘professional Simulator Racing Team competing at the highest level of sim-racing esports’ and it is one of the most successful sim racing teams in the world.
As well as Verstappen, the sim racing team also boasts an impressive roster with the likes of the iconic Kevin Siggy also representing the team.
Sim racing isn’t the only kind of esports that Verstappen is involved with, as the 27-year-old has also flaunted his skills behind a screen on other popular games.
The driver recently featured on renowned YouTuber and professional gamer Lachlan’s channel where he sat down to play Fortnite. Watch thee full video below.
