A fresh look for Deathmatch in CS2 patch notes
The biggest change to CS2 in the update is without a doubt the unbalanced teams in Deathmatch mode.

Prior to the update, players would have their factions selected to them pregame, meaning that some would not be able to access the Terrorist benefits in game.
There is no longer that issue with unbalanced matchmaking with developers allowing players to choose their own faction before the game regardless of what other players select.
This means that there could be as many Terrorist’s or Counter Terrorist’s in game as the players decide as there is no longer a requirement to balance the teams with equal numbers.
Aside from Deathmatch getting a revamp, the remaining changes in the CS2 May update are minor – with small bugs in the audio and graphics fixed to improve the general experience in game.
