Glitched has partnered with Riot Games to launch the Valorant Glitched Invitational, with Irish esports organisation Wylde one of eight teams set to take part.
The tournament will take place at the inaugural Swedish Esports and Gaming Festival in Jonkoping, Sweden, from June 13th to 16th, 2025
This event aims to bolster the Nordic esports scene, with strong representation from the region.
Wylde, based in Cork, Ireland, is the sole non-Nordic team in the lineup. The esports organisation was founded in January 2021 and is co-owned by Jamaican Olympic icon Usain Bolt,
Six teams are confirmed, with the two finalists from Svenska Onlineligan (SOL) set to complete the eight-team roster.
Wylde’s participation follows their qualification for the Blast Europe, Middle East, and North Africa (Europe MENA) League 2025 – Stage 1 via the Challenger Series earlier this month.
The teams will compete for a share of a 100,000 SEK (£7,733) prize pool. The finals are due to be broadcast on the Valorant Northern Europe Twitch channel for global audiences.
