Sheo trash talks Irrelevant and BDS after Team Heretics qualify for LEC Spring Playoffs

Sheo has fired shots at Team BDS and Irrelevant

Team Heretics jungler Théo ‘Sheo’ Borile is not holding back on social media after qualifying for the LEC Spring 2025 Playoffs.

He and Heretics had to defeat Team Vitality in a tense tiebreaker to decide the sixth and final participant in the upcoming League of Legends knockout bracket to decide EMEA’s Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) representatives.

And to celebrate, Sheo has pulled out receipts of those who doubted the young roster.

Namely against his former team, Team BDS, and their toplaner Joel ‘Irrelevant’ Miro Scharoll.

Sheo tweeted asking where BDS are now, after they failed to qualify for the top six, and shared a alleged screenshot from a solo queue game where he was taunted in all chat.

The screenshot reads: “You ping your teammates when you go 10th place next split?”

The chat came from the account named “DK Siwoo” which belongs to BDS’ Irrelevant, according to Dodgetracker which tracks pro player’s solo queue habits and performance. Unsurprisingly, this wasn’t from the real Dplus KIA toplaner Jeon ‘Siwoo’ Si-woo.

Heretics have been the LEC’s surprise package this year. There were low expectations on the young squad with three rookies but they have shown excellent team play.

After the team won their tiebreaker, British LEC caster Alex ‘Nymaera’ Hapgood was full of praise for the underdog roster:

“From the lowest of expectations pre-winter to top 6 in spring, Heretics have been an absolute pleasure to see grow as individuals and as a unit.

“One of the most entertaining teams in Europe! Shoutout to Carlsen’s family coming over to Berlin to support him in-studio too.”

LEC Spring Split 2025 Bracket

With EMEA’s top six confirmed, Riot Games have confirmed two very exciting match-ups to get the LEC Spring Playoffs and the road to the MSI underway.

The opening round of the Upper Bracket will see too rivalries take place in best-of-five action.

It will be Spain versus France in one game with Movistar KOI versus reigning champions Karmine Corp and the other will feature El Classico, Fnatic versus G2 Esports – the region’s two most historically successful teams.

The losers of each of these matches will then have another best-of-five waiting for them against either GiantX or Team Heretics.

Those series will be in the Lower Bracket, meaning no second chances. Lose a series and face elimination.
