Global Esports Industry Week unveiled with the event set to debut next month

Global Esports Industry Week

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), tournament organiser BLAST, and The Esports Radar have announced the Global Esports Industry Week 2025.

It will debut in Austin, Texas, from June 18-22nd, 2025, and will coincide with the Blast.tv Austin Major for Counter-Strike.

The esports business event will feature executive forums, summits, experiential gatherings, and networking socials, designed to foster collaboration amongst industry stakeholders.

It aims to provide a platform for publishers, tournament organisers, teams, investors, regulators, and tech providers to drive growth in the rapidly expanding global esports landscape.

“The global esports ecosystem has reached a tipping point where sustainable growth depends on collective action,” said Stephen Hanna, CEO of ESIC. “Global Esports Industry Week 2025 is our answer to that need – a neutral space where publishers, tournament operators, teams, investors, regulators, and technology can leave day-to-day business at the door and focus on the bigger picture.”

ESIC is a non-profit organisation based in London, promoting integrity, fair play, and ethical standards in esports.

BLAST is a leading esports tournament organiser, known for high-profile events like the Blast.tv Major series.

The event’s launch aligns with the formation of The Insights Group in 2025, a media and events company founded by Sam Cooke. The Insights Group serves as the parent company of The Esports Rada

Why sustainability matters in esports

Sustainability has emerged as a key concern for esports stakeholders aiming to secure the industry’s stability.

The Global Esports Industry Week will highlight this through key sessions, including the ESIC Global Esports Summit, a panel on player welfare and integrity, and the International Games and Esports Tribunal, which will introduce a new dispute-resolution framework for gaming and esports.

Sustainable growth is vital for the esports industry’s longevity, particularly as tournament organisers allocate significant funds to prize pools and incentives.

Global Esports Industry Week offers a collaborative environment to ensure esports remains a viable ecosystem for established businesses and new ventures alike.
