FlyQuest, a prominent esports organisation, has announced the departure of British Marvel Rivals player Ghasklin from its competitive roster.
The news, shared via an official press release, marks the end of Ghasklin’s tenure with the team which began in March.
In a post on X, FlyQuest said: “Today we are announcing the departure of Ghasklin. Thank you for being a part of our first Invitational run and first steps in Marvel Rivals.”
Responding to the announcement, Ghasklin said: “I will be taking a short break to decompress and de-stress I have A LOT going on in my life right now and will be taking a very short break.”
Ghasklin, who as per their Twitch account resides in Wales, has received support and well wishes on social media in response to the announcement.
Vanguard player Ghasklin, joined FlyQuest on March 12th, 2025, alongside the organisation’s other six currently active members.
Before joining the esports organisation, he previously competed for NTMR and Shikigami.
During his time with FlyQuest, they received the finals of the Marvel Rivals Invitational: North American finals. They reached the finals after a 3-1 win against Sentinels.
Despite losing to 100 Thieves 4-2 in the final, Ghasklin’s team left the competition with $20,000 (£15,000) in winnings.
Earlier in March 2025, Ghasklin finished second with Shikigami in the Vanguardian League: Season 1.
Will FlyQuest replace Ghasklin?
FlyQuest has not announced plans to replace Ghasklin, while it’s not certain when the British Marvel Rivals player will return.
However, they won’t be short-handed when it comes to upcoming tournaments as the team debuted with a seven-player roster.
According to Liquidpedia, only Ian “SparkChief” Rivera Cruz is listed as a Vanguard main.
The next major event, the Marvel Rivals Championship (MRC) Season 2: Hellfire Gala, runs from June 7 to July 6, 2025. It will open qualifiers and a double-elimination stage. FlyQuest’s recent second-place finish at the Marvel Rivals Invitational NA 2025 positions them as strong contenders.
