Clash Royale unveils new community-focused format for CRL 2025 season

Clash Royale CRL 2025 format

The Clash Royale League is introducing a revamped, community-focused format for the 2025 CRL season.

Changes will open more pathways for competitors to secure a spot at the CRL World Finals, set to take place at the end of the year.

CRL 2025 format

The 2025 CRL season emphasises community involvement, with four organisations hosting events that distribute leaderboard points, four Golden Tickets, and four Silver Tickets.

A total of 12 Golden tickets will be awarded through these events, the CRL Leaderboards, a last-chance qualifier and a China tie-in event.

The 12 recipients of those Golden Tickets will receive direct qualification to the CRL World Finals.

Additionally, each event offers a $50,000 (£37,000) prize pool, with the top 1,000 players from the Path of Legends eligible to compete in event qualifiers.

Six of the 12 Golden tickets on offer will be available via the CRL Leaderboards, where players can accumulate points starting from the second day of event qualifiers.

The new last-chance qualifier event will allow four runners-up from Golden Ticket events and the eight players just below the ticket winners on the leaderboard to vie for a World Finals spot.
