NLC 2025 news and content powered by AGON by AOC
UK esports mischief makers The Ruddy Sack have announced their roster for the upcoming Spring 2025 Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC).
They’ve brought back jungler NattyNatt (Sweden) and bot-laner Nata (Denmark) to their team for the next NLC season.
And they have brought in top-laner Gaëthan (France), mid-laner Peng (Sweden) and support player marlon (Poland) to complete the roster.
NattyNatt previously played with Ruddy from late 2023 to mid 2024, while Nata was with Ruddy from mid-2024 to early 2025.
Both Gaëthan and Peng have been with Mad Lions Madrid in the past, and the likes of GTZ and Solary respectively. Marlon has experience with BIG, Koi and more.
The Ruddy Sack made the announcement on socials, with this conversation between The Ruddy Sack co-owner DonJake and the founder of the Sheep Esports news site, Wooloo.
The news comes after The Ruddy Sack rebranded at the start of this year, with IWillDominate and YamatoCannon joining as co-owners.
They had some huge names on their roster, including Croatian top-laner Perkz, Polish jungler Jankos, Norwegian mid-laner LIDER, American bot laner Humzh and Swedish support player Hustlin.
Despite Ruddy founder DonJake’s protests on social media (he previously likened the new co-owners joining The Ruddy Sack to the Glazers buying Manchester United), IWillDominate and YamatoCannon will be staying with The Ruddy Sack for this coming season.
Los Ratones, the org founded by Caedrel, of course went on to win the NLC 2025 Winter season – and the EMEA Masters.
DonJake on The Ruddy Sack’s new roster for the Spring 2025 NLC
Ruddy founder DonJake told Esports News UK: “I think this is the roster that is more authentically classic Ruddy.
“It’s good to have two players back that have played here before. I think that people are going to really enjoy the mix of personalities and it’s going to be a lot more wholesome than it has in previous splits.
“From what I’ve seen so far, even though it’s been limited practice, the boys all get on really well and there’s a nice vibe in the team.
“I think that we can exceed the previous split and hopefully make to top three and to the offline event – that’s a big goal of mine.”
He also shared this, with ‘peng’ being London slang for something attractive or of excellent quality.
The Ruddy Sack also tweeted the following about some of their former players:
The news also comes after Santorin and Treatz departed Nord Esports, as Innaxe, Jankos and Nash joined the NLC organisation.
