The players and talent involved with the tenth anniversary of fighting game tournament Red Bull Kumite have today been revealed.
These include UK players ProblemX (pictured above after winning the 2021 Red Bull Kumite in Vegas) and EndingWalker, plus casters like F-Word and Logan Sama. The full list can be found at the end of this article.
To celebrate a decade of the tournament, Red Bull Kumite is returning to the Fench city that started it all: Paris. It will get underway at the La Maison de la Mutualité on April 5th to 6th 2025, with 16 players doing battle in single-elimination matchups and a first-to-five format.
Upon the Great Gatsby-inspired stage, eight Street Fighter ‘Legends’, boasting victories across Red Bull Kumite, Evo, and the Capcom Cup, will face off against eight ‘Underdogs’, including the victors of the Last Chance Qualifier and Play-In stages.
With 14 players directly invited to compete in the Main Event on Sunday April 6th, the final two players completing the challenger’s roster will be decided via the Last Chance Qualifier and Play-In tournament on Saturday April 5th (registration on start.gg here).
Team Legends includes Street Fighter giant Daigo “Diago” Umehara, 2015 Red Bull Kumite trophy winner Masato “Bonchan” Takahasi, and last year’s reigning Red Bull Kumite champion Saul Leonardo “MenaRD” Mena II.
Team Underdogs consists of rising talent in the FGC scene, all hungry to make their mark on the grand stage. Among their roster is Noah “NoahTheProdigy” Solis, Ed “EndingWalker“, and the 2024 ‘Kings of the World’ runner-up Kilyan “Kilzyou” Faucheux, who will go head-to-head against the FGC’s seasoned veterans.
Overseeing the tournament, broadcast talent include Rob “RobTV“, Joe “LI Joe” Ciaramelli, Samad “Damascus” Abdessadki, Femi “F-Word” Adeboye, Justin “JWong” Wong, Olivia “Liv” Muller, Logan Sama, Michael “Yipes” Mendoza, and Liang “Zhi” Chew.
